Job Description
**Job Title:** Technical Sales Representative **Role Summary:** Drive B2B sales of engineered fluid‑conveyance and thermal‑management products by engaging EPC contractors, consulting and mechanical engineers, distributors, and end users. Deliver consultative, solution‑based selling, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and expand market presence within the assigned territory. **Expectations:** - Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and territory growth objectives. - Build and maintain long‑term client relationships while continuously generating new business opportunities. - Provide technical pre‑sales support and post‑sale troubleshooting to ensure successful product integration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and qualify leads; conduct engineering‑focused presentations and “lunch‑and‑learn” sessions. - Manage RFQ/RFP processes, develop proposals, and close sales contracts. - Develop and execute territory growth and market‑demand generation strategies. - Offer technical expertise to assess customer needs, propose engineered solutions, and resolve implementation issues. - Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts; report on pipeline status. - Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and service teams to align solutions with customer requirements. **Required Skills:** - Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to discuss technical product features. - Proven B2B technical sales experience (2–3 + years) in industrial/engineered products, preferably fluid conveyance or thermal management. - Effective presentation and communication skills; proficient in PowerPoint and able to influence small‑to‑medium groups. - Demonstrated negotiation, listening, and written communication abilities. - Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and entrepreneurial. - Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member. - Fluency in English (written and verbal). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Mechanical Engineering degree **or** Business Diploma with strong mechanical focus. - No additional certifications mandated; industry experience (e.g., nuclear sector) considered an asset.
