Job Description

Senior Flexonics Canada (flexonics.com), a division of Senior Plc and headquartered in Brampton, ON, is seeking an ambitious Technical Sales Representative based in the GTA area. The successful candidate will help grow our business by representing our industrial operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Working with EPC contractors, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, distributors, and end users daily to assess their needs and provide creative solutions.
Managing a complete B2B sales cycle for a project driven business, including lead prospecting, presenting to engineers (lunch & learns), managing the RFQ/RFP stage, and closing sales.
Developing and practicing consultative and solution based selling strategies.
Creating and maintaining long lasting client relationships while consistently sourcing new and potential clients who may benefit from our products and services.
Generating market demand for both current and potential new products and services.
Providing pre sales education and assistance to potential customers regarding product capabilities and how they meet organizational needs.
Offering technical expertise to troubleshoot implementation issues, provide solutions, and ensure successful product integration.
Developing and implementing territory growth strategies by meeting or exceeding sales objectives.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering degree or Business Diploma with strong mechanical aptitude.
Minimum 2–3 years of B2B technical sales experience.
Ideal candidates will have experience selling industrial products in the Fluid Conveyance and Thermal Management sectors. Experience in the nuclear industry is an asset.
Effective presentation skills, proficiency in PowerPoint, and experience presenting to and influencing small to medium sized groups.
Proven sales track record with engineered products and experience working with plant and consulting engineers.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively to maximize efficiency and results.
Fluency in English.
