Job Description
**Job title:** Auxiliary Programs Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the planning, execution, and operational oversight of after‑school and summer programs, including the BASIS Virtual Summer Camp. Serve as the primary liaison with students, families, staff, and external vendors, ensuring program quality, financial stewardship, and effective communication. **Expectations:** - Manage program schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships efficiently. - Deliver clear, concise communication across all stakeholders. - Maintain high standards of organization, detail orientation, and accountability. - Work occasional evenings and weekends as program demands require. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as main point of contact for planning and executing after‑school and summer programs. - Design, update, and distribute seasonal program catalogues, communications, and newsletters. - Coordinate enrollment, fee collection, and student registration. - Procure equipment and manage vendor contracts and communications. - Maintain accurate program budget and analyze participant data and financial impact. - Lead and promote the BASIS Virtual Summer Camp. - Act as subject‑matter expert for parents, students, faculty, and staff regarding auxiliary programs. - Continuously improve operational systems, processes, and policies. - Perform additional duties as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Strong organizational and documentation abilities. - High attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Sound judgment and decision‑making. - Ability to build inclusive, professional relationships. - Efficient prioritization and execution of tasks. - Accountability and openness to feedback. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent education‑work experience). - Valid fingerprint clearance card and/or state background check. **Experience:** - 3–5 years in a related role, preferably in a similar‑sized educational setting. - Event planning experience is advantageous. ---
