Job Title
Human Resources Information System Consultant – Workday Time Tracking
Role Summary
Deliver end‑to‑end implementation of Workday Time Tracking, including functional design, configuration, testing, integration, and go‑live support. Act as a subject‑matter expert to align time‑tracking processes with Workday Absence, Payroll, and HCM modules and provide training and documentation to business users.

* 3+ years of functional Workday experience focused on Time Tracking
* At least one full Cycle implementation of Workday Time Tracking (preferably multiple)
* Deep knowledge of Workday Absence, Payroll, and HCM Core modules
* Hands‑on configuration of time‑entry settings, calculations, approvals, schedules, and compliance rules
* Ability to translate business requirements into functional design documents, test cases, and configuration changes
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
* Experience supporting UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and hypercare phases
Key Responsibilities
* Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Time Tracking.
* Conduct discovery workshops, gather and analyse requirements, and produce functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test cases.
* Configure Time Entry Codes, Calculations, Templates, Validation Rules, Calendars, Work Schedules, time zones, and approval workflows.
* Collaborate with Workday Absence, Payroll, and HCM teams to ensure downstream integration alignment.
* Partner with integration developers on mapping for payroll/time‑clock systems (e.g., Kronos, UKG, ADP).
* Lead and support unit, end‑to‑end, and UAT testing, including defect identification and resolution.
* Plan cutover, ensure go‑live readiness, and deliver post‑production hypercare support.
* Deliver training and knowledge transfer to HR operations, managers, and end users.
* Document configuration, security roles, testing artifacts, and compliance controls for audit support.
Required Skills
* Strong functional expertise in time‑entry and approval workflows, time calculations & rules, compliance, schedules, and assignments.
* Ability to write functional specifications and work with integration developers.
* Proficiency in Workday configuration tools and documentation.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
* Agile / hybrid implementation methodology experience (desirable).
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Workday Time Tracking Certification (highly preferred).
