**Job Title:** Platform Engineer – Microsoft Azure / Fabric / M365 / Power BI (Investment Management)
**Role Summary:**
Hands‑on engineer responsible for designing, building, operating, and continuously improving cloud‑based data and infrastructure platforms on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 to support trading, risk, and investor‑reporting functions.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑optimized data pipelines and services.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Provide end‑to‑end ownership of incidents, root‑cause analysis, and remediation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and support users on dashboards and data tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and manage Fabric dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouses; support bronze/silver/gold data architecture.
- Develop and optimize semantic models for Power BI analytics.
- Monitor pipeline performance, data quality, and maintain documentation and data lineage.
- Administer Azure AD, networking, compute, security, and Azure Storage/ADLS Gen2 environments.
- Oversee Azure‑M365 integrations (SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, compliance).
- Implement resilience, access management, disaster‑recovery, monitoring, automation, and cost‑optimization measures.
- Provide stakeholder liaison, translate requirements, and support dashboard users.
- Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis across data and cloud services.
**Required Skills:**
- 3–6 years data engineering and cloud operations experience (financial services preferred).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, dataflows, pipelines, semantic modelling).
- Proficient with Azure infrastructure: AD, networking, compute, security, and ADLS Gen2.
- Microsoft 365 administration (SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams).
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, governance, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or Python for automation (preferred).
- Knowledge of Power BI and Azure DevOps (CI/CD, IaC) (preferred).
- Understanding of financial data domains (trades, positions, risk, performance) (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator) are advantageous but not mandatory.
