Job Description: Job Title: Junior Associate Role Summary: Support compliance and operations teams in venture capital fund operations, focusing on regulatory compliance, fund setup, and investor onboarding. Expactations: Proactive, detail-oriented candidate with minimal experience in compliance or finance; ability to work autonomously and adapt to dynamic regulatory environments. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor regulatory compliance for UK and Luxembourg VC funds. - Facilitate regulatory applications and approvals. - Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure compliance. - Conduct risk assessments and implement compliance controls. - Assist in managing Appointed Representatives. - Support compliance platform setup and training. - Perform AML checks for investors and target companies. - Aid in compiling FCA and internal Board reports. - Assist in bank account setup and third-party payments for funds. - Support investment process implementation for VC funds. Required Skills: Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, organizational skills, communication, autonomy, Microsoft Office proficiency. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or law; relevant certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) preferred.
