**Job Title:** Director of Marketing & Communications **Role Summary:** Leads the creation, execution, and governance of brand messaging, campaign strategy, and product launches across all channels. Serves as the primary decision‑maker for marketing communication, ensuring compliance, consistency, and rapid go‑to‑market execution while collaborating closely with product, sales, retail, operations, and compliance teams. **Expectations:** - Master the brand’s voice and narrative to produce compelling, compliant copy. - Drive high‑velocity marketing processes with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable impact. - Translate complex cannabinoid science into accessible consumer education. - Maintain brand integrity while enabling creative evolution. - Deliver product‑launch readiness on schedule, aligning cross‑functional stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and evolve brand voice, tone, and narrative across web, app, retail, e‑commerce, and experiential channels. - Develop campaign frameworks and messaging for major initiatives and product lines. - Lead marketing strategy and execution for all product launches (hardware, oil, flavors, apparel, limited editions). - Create and manage launch timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional coordination. - Produce and oversee copy for website, product detail pages, bundles, and conversion‑focused assets. - Translate technical specifications and cannabinoid science (THC, THCa, THCp, CBD, CBN, THCv, CBG, etc.) into clear, compliance‑safe consumer messaging. - Serve as internal subject‑matter expert for cannabinoid education and positioning. - Define and execute SEO and editorial content strategy, producing blog and educational articles that balance search performance with brand voice. - Design and maintain marketing workflows, SOPs, and internal communication systems. - Partner with Brand Director, Product, Sales, Retail, and Compliance leaders to ensure alignment and quality. **Required Skills:** - Advanced copywriting and storytelling across multiple media formats. - Strategic campaign planning and launch execution. - Strong project management with ability to organize teams, set clear ownership, and meet deadlines. - Deep understanding of regulated product marketing, especially cannabis/hemp compliance. - Ability to translate scientific/technical information into consumer‑friendly language. - Proficiency in SEO, content strategy, and performance‑focused copy. - Excellent collaboration and cross‑functional communication. - High tenacity, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (required). - Additional certification in project management, digital marketing, or regulatory compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
