Job Description

**Job Title** Full Stack Developer **Role Summary** Develop and evolve a core operational platform for a large automotive services business. Own end‑to‑end features, from UI to backend logic, ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability while collaborating with commercial and operational stakeholders. **Expectations** - Take ownership of feature delivery and technical decisions. - Apply practical, architecture‑aligned solutions to real business problems. - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code with a focus on usability. **Key Responsibilities** - Own and deliver new features for both internal and customer‑facing parts of the platform. - Build bespoke functionality for large clients, meeting operational constraints. - Design clean, intuitive user interfaces with a strong focus on UX. - Work across the full stack: database, APIs, and browser. - Integrate with third‑party systems and external APIs. - Make pragmatic technical decisions within the existing architecture. - Continuously improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. **Required Skills** - Strong experience with React and Next.js (App Router). - Solid JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge. - Front‑end design instincts, Tailwind CSS, and component‑based UI libraries (e.g., ShadCN). - Comfortable writing and understanding SQL Server queries. - Experience with both front‑end and back‑end codebases. - Ability to consume and build APIs. - Understanding of web security best practices. - Familiarity with C#, SQL Server, and Azure is a plus. - Exposure to Redis, caching, performance optimisation, and PWA concepts. - Comfortable using Git (Bitbucket) and collaboration tools (Slack). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications in Full Stack development, Microsoft Azure, or related technologies are desirable.
