Job Description: Job Title: Sr. Accountant – Hotel Portfolio Role Summary: Senior accountant with 5+ years of direct hotel industry accounting, responsible for onboarding hotel clients, configuring accounting systems, managing month‑end close, and producing hotel‑specific financial reports. Expectations: Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for hotel clients, ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards, and continuously improve accounting processes to support scalable growth. Key Responsibilities - Lead hotel client onboarding, setting up accounting systems and workflows. - Customize and streamline accounting procedures tailored to hotel operations. - Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and month‑end close. - Integrate and manage hotel systems (PMS, POS, revenue management platforms). - Produce daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and other hotel performance reports. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. - Act as subject‑matter expert on hotel accounting and finance. - Collaborate with internal teams to elevate client experience and operational effectiveness. Required Skills - Senior-level accounting expertise (5+ years). - Proven experience in hotel industry accounting, including revenue, payroll, and departmental reporting. - Proficiency with hotel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, M3, Opera, Maestro, or equivalent). - Strong understanding of hospitality accounting standards and best practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred.
