About The Role

We are hiring an experienced Senior Accountant with direct hotel industry experience to support client onboarding, streamline accounting operations, and customize accounting workflows for hotel and hospitality businesses. This is a fully remote role and a key position within our growing team.

This role requires hands-on experience working with hotel accounting systems, revenue structures, and operational reporting. Candidates without prior hotel industry accounting experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support hotel client onboarding, including setup of accounting systems and workflows

Customize and streamline accounting processes specific to hotel operations

Manage and review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close

Work with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and revenue management platforms

Ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards and best practices

Prepare and review hotel-specific reports (daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, etc.)

Identify process improvements and implement scalable accounting solutions

Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and client experience

Act as a subject-matter expert for hotel accounting and financial operation

Required Qualifications

Senior-level accounting experience (5+ years preferred)
Direct hotel industry accounting experience is REQUIRED
Strong understanding of hotel accounting, including revenue, payroll, and departmental reporting
Experience onboarding hotel clients and setting up accounting systems
Proficiency with hotel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, M3, Opera, Maestro, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
