**Job Title:** Analyst / Associate, AI & Technology Strategy
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven solutions to optimize investment operations and decision-making for a private equity firm. Focus on automating workflows, enhancing data analysis, and deploying scalable technology across investment management and portfolio companies.
**Expectations**
Highly technical, hands-on role at the intersection of finance, AI, and strategy. Requires deep expertise in AI/ML tools, automation, and data platforms. 70% of time dedicated to implementation; 30% to design, documentation, and collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain production-ready AI solutions for investment operations (e.g., financial modeling, FP&A, reporting).
- Automate repetitive tasks (data entry, legal documentation management, market research).
- Develop tools to analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and portfolio company data to surface actionable insights.
- Collaborate with investment teams to integrate AI into decision-making workflows.
- Document and scale AI tools for internal and portfolio company use.
**Required Skills**
- Strong coding proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar languages.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and AI workflow frameworks.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Analytical problem-solving and experience with automation technologies (RPA, workflow tools).
- Understanding of financial modeling, FP&A, and investment operations.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML (TensorFlow Developer Certificate, AWS ML Specialty) or data science (Cloudera, Databricks) preferred.
