Job Description
**Job Title:** Director of Marketing and Business Development **Role Summary:** Lead and integrate all marketing initiatives, business development, and customer service operations to drive revenue growth and brand loyalty. Oversee strategic planning, product launches, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional team leadership within a holistic health and natural supplements context. **Expectations:** - Achieve measurable marketing and sales targets through annual plans and ROI‑driven campaigns. - Establish high‑performance teams, providing coaching, training, and performance management. - Deliver continuous process improvements and maintain brand integrity across all touchpoints. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan and execute annual marketing initiatives (trade shows, sponsorships, advertising, social media) within budget. - Identify new customer audiences, product opportunities, and launch strategies; report launch success and trend analysis. - Develop and maintain SOPs, training programs, and onboarding processes for marketing and customer service teams. - Drive Kaizen and system improvement projects to enhance operational efficiencies. - Design and implement a customer assurance and loyalty program; monitor complaints and corrective actions. - Lead performance management (30/60/90 reviews, annual reviews, PDPs) and workforce planning. - Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with Leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years of marketing and sales experience with 2+ years in a leadership role. - Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis capability. - Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high‑performance teams. - Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational and time‑management skills. - Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma). - Familiarity with holistic health, natural supplements, pharmaceuticals, or related industries. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferable). - Certifications in marketing, project management, or Six Sigma are desirable.
