Job Description
**Job Title** Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Cybersecurity **Role Summary** Proactive, high‑energy SDR responsible for generating qualified pipeline for a Managed Security Service Provider. Works with sales and marketing to prospect, qualify, and schedule discovery meetings with B2B cyber‑security decision‑makers, driving revenue growth. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed monthly meeting‑booking and qualified‑opportunity targets. - Maintain a high outbound activity rate (250+ cold calls/week). - Deliver consistent, data‑driven outreach performance and pipeline contribution. - Represent the company professionally in all communications. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events. - Book, attend, and host discovery calls with potential clients. - Manage the sales process from initial contact through hand‑off to closing team. - Record all interactions and updates accurately in the CRM system. - Collaborate with marketing on campaign messaging and lead‑generation initiatives. - Track, analyze, and report weekly activity metrics and pipeline impact. - Continuously refine outreach tactics based on performance data and feedback. **Required Skills** - Minimum 4 years SDR/BDR or lead‑generation experience (≥2 years in the same organization). - Proven success in B2B SaaS, cyber‑security, or tech sales environments. - Strong written, verbal, and social communication abilities. - High comfort level with high‑volume outbound prospecting. - Ability to quickly assess customer pain points and convey value propositions. - Excellent organization, multitasking, and time‑management skills. - Coachable, curious, and eager to develop sales expertise. - Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - No specific certifications required; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. - Relevant SDR/BDR experience and demonstrated performance are the primary qualifications.
