**Job Title**
ServiceNow Developer / Engineer
**Role Summary**
A seasoned ServiceNow developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on API integration, scripting, and deep module expertise to deliver functional business solutions and platform enhancements.
**Expectations**
- Full‑time contract (six months, with potential extension).
- Deliver high‑quality code, integrations, and solutions per best practices.
- Demonstrate ownership, proactive problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow components using REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, and built‑in scripting.
- Customize and configure applications to meet business needs.
- Provide expertise in at least one core ServiceNow module (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create scalable, efficient solutions.
- Troubleshoot, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, platform governance, and best practices.
- Support integrations with third‑party systems.
- Participate in platform upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimization.
**Required Skills**
- 5–7 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP) and JavaScript‑based scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
- Deep knowledge of one or more ServiceNow modules.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and ownership mindset.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD) are a plus.
- Knowledge of performance analytics, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, CI/CD, DevOps, or automated testing within ServiceNow is desirable.
