Experience: 5–7 YearsLocation: USA RemoteEmployment Type: Full-time contracting for six months with possible extension based on the performance.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Service Now Developer with 5–7 years of strong hands-on experience in Service Now APIs and scripting. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical expertise in one or more Service Now modules and a proactive mindset toward identifying, analysing, and resolving complex issues.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Service Now solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, and Service Now scripting.
Customise and configure Service Now applications to meet business requirements.
Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and proactively recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to Service Now best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
Support integrations between Service Now and third-party systems.
Participate in platform upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–7 years of hands-on experience working with Service Now platform development.
Strong expertise in Service Now APIs (REST, SOAP) and JavaScript-based scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
Deep knowledge of at least one or more Service Now modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Service Now certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD) are a plus.
Experience with performance analytics, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, or automated testing within Service Now.
