Job Description
Job Title: Account Executive (B2B Inside Sales) Role Summary: Inside sales professional responsible for generating new business and closing contracts with small-to-mid sized U.S. companies. Focuses on promoting a proprietary shipping platform through consultative, solution-based selling. Performance measured by quota attainment, commission earnings, and pipeline development. Expectations: - Hunter mindset with relentless drive to source and qualify new leads. - High energy, self‑starter who presents personally as an executive. - Comfortable in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment. - Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to influence executive decision‑makers. - Team player with a competitive spirit and a focus on long‑term client profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and qualify leads across the entire U.S. market with no territory limits. - Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and other outreach tactics to identify potential clients. - Educate prospects on shipping solutions, simplifying complex logistics concepts. - Present customized proposals and cost‑benefit analyses to executive/owner stakeholders. - Lead the proposal process: develop, coordinate, and manage all documentation. - Close agreements, activate new clients on the platform, and provide initial training. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM; forecast pipeline and results. - Continuously follow up to secure order approvals and nurture renewal opportunities. Required Skills: - Proven success in new business development and lead qualification. - Excellent verbal and written communication; persuasive presentation abilities. - Strong negotiation, consultative, and solution‑selling capabilities. - High organization, attention to detail, and time‑management across multiple accounts. - Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and recommend strategic actions. - Comfortable using sales tools/CRM systems and Microsoft office suite. - Resilient under pressure, able to meet monthly/quarterly quotas. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). - Sales certifications (e.g., SPIN Selling, Challenger Sale) are a plus but not mandatory.
