Job title: Lead Salesforce Developer
Role Summary:
Lead architect and delivery manager for Salesforce initiatives in a complex, regulated environment, driving design, development, and deployment of scalable solutions using platform capabilities, Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows, and configuration.
Expectations:
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing development team.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust Salesforce artefacts.
- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑changing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, flows, batch/queueable jobs).
- Architect integrations with external systems, data ingestion pipelines, and CRM/Contact Center platforms.
- Define and enforce Salesforce configuration best practices, security models, and licensing requirements.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Experience Cloud capabilities.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements.
- Lead architecture and implementation reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with Salesforce product releases, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in Salesforce development.
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, batch/queueable jobs.
- Deep knowledge of Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, security architecture, and integration patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated mentoring and leadership within development teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Familiarity with healthcare delivery or regulated industries preferred; CRM/Contact Center experience a plus.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, clinical/health focus, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred: Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect.
