**Job Title:** Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Field‑based professional responsible for installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and repairing CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across client sites in Scotland and the north of England. Provides customer training, support, and site survey services, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Operates independently while collaborating with a team and represents the company with professionalism. **Expactations:** - Full UK driving licence. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in security system installation or maintenance. - Ability to work at heights and in varied indoor/outdoor environments. - Professional, customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills. - Willingness to travel to client sites throughout the required region. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, configure, and test CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems on client premises. - Install cabling in commercial environments and perform site surveys to collect customer requirements. - Conduct fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance on installed systems. - Train customers on system operation, features, and troubleshooting. - Update system documentation and information repositories. - Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards in all interactions. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in installing and configuring security hardware and software. - Troubleshooting, fault finding, and maintenance of security systems. - Cabling installation and basic network wiring. - Conducting site surveys and translating requirements into technical specifications. - Strong customer communication and training abilities. - Independent work ethic, methodical problem solving, and teamwork. - Professional presentation and adherence to brand standards. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant technical qualification (e.g., ICT, electronics, engineering). - Full UK driving licence. - CSCS card preferred (not mandatory).
