Job Description:

Wellwood Communications, an award-winning provider of telecom and security solutions, is committed to supporting businesses through reliable, cutting-edge technology. Our security division delivers advanced CCTV, access control systems and intruder alarms.

We believe in a strong customer-first culture and are looking for a Security Engineer to join our amazing team.

About the Role:

This is a field-based role, requiring a full UK driving licence. Our office is based in Livingston and normal hours are 9 to 5.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration and testing of CCTV, access control systems and intruder alarms on Clients premises throughout Scotland and north of England.
Training and supporting customers on operation and features of systems.
Installation of cabling within commercial environments.
Maintenance and repairs, through fault finding on installed security systems.
Carry out site surveys and gather customer requirements.
Updating relevant information systems.
Providing customers with an exceptional experience.

About You:

You will be a hard working individual, who loves technology! Someone who is able to work independently with a professional customer focussed attitude and enjoys being part of a great team. You’ll be methodical and enjoy problem solving for customers. Abililty to work at heights and in various indoor and outdoor environments.

You are promoting the company and maintaining our company message at all opportunities so you’ll have an excellent manner and be well presented.

We’d prefer you to have at least 2 years experience in a similar role within security and have a CSCS Card (preferred but not essential).

Salary scale between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
