Job title: Internship – R&D Engineer (CCS) Role Summary: Assist in evaluating and enhancing thermophysical models for CO₂-rich mixtures (>95%) used in carbon capture and storage (CCS). Conduct literature reviews, curate experimental datasets, benchmark equations of state (EoS), and contribute to scientific paper preparation. Expactations: - Complete internship within 6 months (Feb/Mar 2026 start). - Deliver a draft conference paper in English. - Independently manage data extraction, cleaning, and analysis tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Review CCS-focused thermophysical models and EoS (GERG‑2008, PC‑SAFT, SRK, etc.) for 2–4 weeks. - Build and curate an experimental database of CO₂‑rich mixtures (composition, P/T, measured properties). - Benchmark experimental data against EoS predictions, analyzing trends across P/T/composition zones and flagging high‑risk regions. - Write and structure results for an English conference paper draft. Required Skills: - Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and fluid properties. - High rigor in quantitative data analysis. - Proficiency in technical English (reading & writing).
