Located along the banks of the Mighty Ottawa River in Ontario’s Whitewater Region, Whitewater Brewing Co.’s story began with a shared epiphany between friends: that the Ottawa Valley is fertile with ingredients to make great tasting beer for well-deserving beer drinkers. In addition to original and seasonal brews, we filter the flavours of the region into from-scratch dishes at two brew pubs, and host a range of events to unite our guests in the joy of a shared experience. Job Description
Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Coordinator Role Summary: Administers day‑to‑day marketing initiatives for up to six beverage brands, coordinating social content, community engagement, event support and campaign execution to elevate brand presence across digital and physical channels. Expactations: • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media or coordination roles. • Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Mailchimp, basic Excel/Sheets, and website editing (Shopify, Wix, Weebly or similar). • Ability to maintain brand tone across platforms and adhere to digital etiquette. • Team‑first mindset and passion for creating memorable brand experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, schedule and publish social media content across platforms to drive engagement and community growth. • Respond to customer inquiries and manage community interactions in a timely manner. • Coordinate logistics and support for brand events, launches and promotions. • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and deliverables. • Track and report on social performance metrics, adjusting tactics as needed. • Maintain brand consistency, creativity and high quality of visual and copy assets. Required Skills: • Social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, etc.) • Design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) • Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, similar) • Basic spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets) • Website content editing on e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Wix, Weebly) • Time‑management, prioritization and multitasking in dynamic environments. Required Education & Certifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred. • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, social media, or content creation are an asset.
