Job Description: **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer, PEng **Role Summary:** Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer tasked with designing and optimizing airflow‐centric equipment. Works cross‑functionally with R&D, production, and suppliers to deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant products. **Expectations:** - Deliver fully documented, manufacturable designs within schedule. - Ensure all mechanical systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet clients to clarify specifications and product modifications. - Partner with R&D to support new product development and continuous improvement. - Perform structural analyses, duct loss, and CFM calculations; design efficient tubing and fitting layouts. - Produce GA drawings, P&ID, exploded views, and detailed assembly instructions. - Select materials and components per system specifications. - Coordinate with suppliers/vendors and evaluate component sourcing. - Support product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance. - Provide technical support to internal production, sales, and customer teams. **Required Skills:** - Licensed Professional Engineer (PEng) in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design of airflow‑based products (ducts, blowers, HVAC, vacuums, air piping). - Proven duct loss and CFM calculation expertise. - Experience with positive displacement pumps. - Proficient in SolidWorks. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). - Valid PEng licence. - Certifications in HVAC/HVAC /blowing or related equipment preferred.
