Job Description
Job Title: Compliance Manager Role Summary: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance and quality assurance systems to meet aviation regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization adheres to CAA (and where relevant, EASA) standards. Expactations: • Demonstrate full ownership of compliance processes and perform continuous monitoring for regulatory alignment. • Obtain and maintain nominated person status with the authorities; complete necessary training and certification. • Act as a trusted advisor on compliance matters, providing guidance to cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee compliance monitoring and quality assurance activities across all operating sites. • Manage compliance documentation, audit trails, and report generation to senior management. • Coordinate internal audits, rectify findings, and drive corrective actions. • Review and update policies, procedures, and SOPs to reflect regulatory changes. • Liaise with aviation authorities, certify and support CAA/EASA approvals. • Advise on data protection obligations and health & safety integration where applicable. • Mentor and train staff on compliance best practices. Required Skills: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance monitoring and/or quality assurance. • Strong leadership, task management, and time‑management abilities. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency in regulatory frameworks (CAA, EASA) and data protection laws. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: • Relevant compliance or quality assurance qualification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor). • Completion of training to become a nominated person with CAA, or equivalent evidence of regulatory competence.
