Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Manager **Role Summary:** Drive growth of commercial and institutional security and door solutions by prospecting, closing, and managing key B2B accounts in the Greater Toronto area. Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, ensuring alignment with operations for flawless service delivery. **Expectations:** - Prospect and secure new commercial locksmithing, door hardware, and security hardware projects. - Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, condo corporations, facility managers, and contractors. - Continuously grow existing contracts through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. - Deliver tailored proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and negotiate pricing and long‑term agreements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and engage prospects using market research, networking, and cold outreach. - Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to decision‑makers. - Negotiate pricing, service terms, and contract renewals. - Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure service delivery meets commitments. - Manage a pipeline in a CRM system and report on sales metrics. - Upsell products such as closers, access control, and maintenance programs. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of B2B sales or business development in construction, facilities, security, or related services. - Proven ability to close full‑cycle sales and manage large accounts. - Strong communication, negotiation, and follow‑up skills. - Self‑driven mindset, able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the GTA. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. - CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) highly desirable. ---
