Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, secure cloud-native applications and platform solutions on AWS, emphasizing Kubernetes and EKS, to support enterprise‑grade initiatives for a leading financial institution. Expcatations: Deliver high‑performance, reliable, and secure cloud implementations; maintain operational efficiency; mentor junior staff; collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, develop, test, and deploy cloud application and platform solutions. - Integrate AWS cloud services with on‑premises infrastructure. - Produce proof‑of‑architecture demos validating security, performance, and scalability. - Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS). - Collaborate with product, DevOps, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration. - Continuously assess and enhance cloud architecture and operational practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Required Skills: - Advanced Python programming. - Kubernetes (EKS) expertise. - Cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS. - Experience delivering large‑scale, enterprise‑grade cloud solutions. - Deep understanding of cloud security, performance, and reliability principles. - Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
