Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to support a high-profile programme for one of the largest financial institutions in the world. This role is fully onsite in Glasgow and requires strong hands-on expertise in cloud-native platforms and infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

-Design, build, test, and deploy cloud application and platform solutions.

-Integrate cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

-Deliver proof-of-architecture to validate security, performance, and scalability.

-Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based platform environments.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud integration.

-Continuously assess and improve cloud architecture and operational efficiency.

-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

-Advanced proficiency in Python.

-Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

-Solid background in cloud infrastructure engineering.

-Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions.

-Strong understanding of cloud security, performance, and reliability principles.
