Job title: Account Manager Public Sector – Flanders Role Summary: Drive commercial growth with major public sector clients in Flanders by developing strategic relationships, generating new business through cross‑selling/up‑selling, and supporting tender responses. Manage leads, pipeline, and negotiations to secure contracts in a competitive market. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years B2B account management experience. - Bachelor’s degree (discipline unrestricted). - Fluency in Dutch; French or English language skills are a plus. - Prior public sector experience is highly desirable. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Energetic, results‑driven, and proactive in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and strengthen strategic relationships with public sector stakeholders across Flanders. 2. Initiate and maintain long‑term collaborations with new institutions through proactive outreach. 3. Identify and pursue cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities to expand account revenue. 4. Collaborate with the tender team to prepare compelling responses to public procurement bids. 5. Manage activities, leads, pipeline, and opportunities using the company CRM system. 6. Negotiate contracts and terms effectively in a highly competitive market. 7. Analyse public sector dynamics to identify opportunities for service improvement and onboarding. Required Skills: - Proven B2B account management and sales expertise. - Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills. - Effective negotiation and deal‑closing capability. - Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales pipeline management. - Excellent communication skills in Dutch; additional proficiency in French or English valuable. - Strategic thinker, proactive, result‑oriented with strong listening and empathy.
