Job Description
Job title: Project Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end data center migration and disaster recovery programs for a client, coordinating cross‑functional teams and a third‑party partner. Oversee schedule, budget, risks, and ensure DR requirements are integrated throughout the migration lifecycle. Expectations: - Execute large‑scale data center consolidations and cloud migrations. - Develop and manage disaster recovery plans (RTO/RPO, readiness, testing, execution). - Deliver executive‑level reporting and change‑management support. - Validate vendor milestones and operational models. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the migration program within a PMO framework. - Lead DR planning, readiness, testing, and execution activities. - Manage schedules, risks, budgets, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, and deliverables. - Provide clear reporting, executive updates, and change‑management support. - Guide application assessments, RTO/RPO development, and DR tiering. - Support partner evaluations and validate vendor milestones and DR test results. - Shape the final migration and DR operational model. Required Skills: - Project management in large‑scale data center consolidations and cloud migrations. - Disaster recovery program execution and DR governance. - Strong risk, schedule, and budget management. - Excellent communication and executive‑presentation skills. - Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners. Required Education & Certifications: - PMP or equivalent certification. - Proven experience in data center migration and disaster recovery.*
