Position Title: Project Manager

Location: Edmonton or Calgary, AB

Type: Contract

The Position:

10 Percent Recruiting is looking for Project Manager to lead an end‑to‑end Data Center Migration initiative, with a strong focus on Disaster Recovery (DR) for their client. In this role, the successful candidate will coordinate cross‑functional teams and a third‑party migration partner, oversee timelines and budgets, manage risks, and ensure DR requirements are fully integrated into every wave of the migration.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the full Data Center Migration Program within a PMO framework

• Lead DR planning, readiness, testing, and execution activities

• Manage schedules, risks, budgets, SoWs, POs, and deliverables

• Provide clear reporting, executive updates, and change‑management support

• Guide application assessments, RTO/RPO development, and DR tiering

• Support partner evaluations and validate vendor milestones and DR test results

• Shape the final migration and DR operational model

Mandatories (must have to qualify):

• Experience leading large‑scale data center consolidations & cloud migrations

• Strong background in Disaster Recovery program execution

• Excellent communication and executive‑presentation skills

• PMP or equivalent certification

Key Deliverables:

• Integrated migration & DR program plan

• Final wave plan with DR sequencing and fallback procedures

• DR governance, runbooks, workflows, and full recovery documentation
