Job Description
**Job title** Regional Account Manager, Neurology – Western Canada **Role Summary** Lead sales and account management for rare neurological disorders (generalized myasthenia gravis and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder) across Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals, develop strategic account plans, and execute promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets. **Expectations** * Achieve consistent sales growth in the assigned territory. * Demonstrate deep disease and product knowledge to educate and influence healthcare providers. * Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company policies. * Manage CRM data accurately and report activity on time. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and execute region‑specific account strategies, including prioritization of decision makers and situational analysis (SWOC, barriers, patient journey, budgeting). * Develop and nurture referral networks and key account relationships with community and academic centers. * Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives (Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Patient Advocacy) to address market challenges and enhance patient outcomes. * Plan, organize, and deliver local digital and in‑person engagement activities, including regional congress participation. * Provide high‑quality customer service to all stakeholders. * Track and report sales activities; complete required training promptly. * Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met. **Required Skills** * 5+ years field‑based sales experience in biotechnology or rare disease sector. * Proven record of consistent, exceptional sales results. * Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. * Analytical mindset with business and clinical insight. * Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. * Valid driver’s licence with a clean record; willingness to travel regularly, including overnight and weekend trips. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree (BSc preferred). * Advanced degree desirable. * No specific certifications required. ---
