Job Title: Machine Learning Lead (Production ML) Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration of machine learning systems for a biotechnology platform, focusing on applied computer vision with real biological imaging data. Expactations: Influence technical direction for high‑impact ML projects; provide guidance to a small, experienced ML/data team; collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and automation experts; scale infrastructure and standards for clinical‑ready programs. Key Responsibilities: • Own ML lifecycle from model development to production monitoring and continuous improvement. • Drive applied computer vision initiatives on noisy, real‑world biological imaging datasets. • Partner with cross‑functional teams (science, engineering, automation) to integrate ML solutions. • Scale ML infrastructure and establish best practices as projects advance toward clinical stages. • Mentor and lead a small ML/data team, fostering technical excellence. Required Skills: • Proven track record of shipping ML models into production environments. • Strong applied ML expertise, especially computer vision. • Ability to work effectively with noisy, irregular scientific data. • Experience in biotechnology, drug discovery, or related scientific domains is advantageous.
