Machine Learning Lead (Production ML)

Avetix is supporting a science-first biotechnology company that's building an integrated discovery platform and advancing internally discovered programs toward the clinic.

They’re looking to add a Machine Learning Lead to take ownership of ML systems end to end, with a strong focus on deploying and operating models in production.

This is a hands-on role embedded directly with scientists, engineers, and automation teams.

Responsibilities

Owning ML systems from development through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
Leading applied computer vision work on real biological and imaging data
Working closely with scientists, engineers, and automation teams in a highly integrated environment
Helping scale ML infrastructure and standards as programs progress toward clinical development
Providing technical leadership to a small, experienced ML/data team

Requirements

Proven experience shipping ML models into production
Strong applied ML background, ideally including computer vision
Comfort working with noisy, real-world scientific data
Experience in biotech, drug discovery, or adjacent scientific environments is a plus
