Accelerator Data Scientist
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for drug discovery and R&D within a global biopharmaceutical organization. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex scientific requirements into reproducible, production‑ready models that accelerate therapeutic innovation.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end ML pipelines from experimentation to production, adhering to agile practices.
- Own model lifecycle management, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and data science solutions.
- Engineer and deploy scalable ML models; maintain production-ready code and pipelines.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets; build data models tailored to specific business cases.
- Design, implement, and evaluate Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
- Fine‑tune Large Language Models, craft prompts, and optimize few‑shot/zero‑shot performance.
- Build NLP pipelines for text classification, summarization, entity recognition and integrate knowledge graphs for semantic search.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and MLOps to operationalize AI products.
- Communicate findings through visualizations, storytelling, and technical documentation.
**Required Skills**

- Advanced programming (Python), deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and ML libraries (scikit‑learn, Hugging Face).
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation tools.
- NLP fundamentals (transformers, tokenization, embeddings); knowledge graph & semantic search integration.
- CI/CD, MLOps tooling, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
