Join our AI Workflow Engineering team as a Data Engineering Lead and you can help make it happen.
The products you will work on
You will play a key leadership role across our AI Workflow data products, specifically supporting the Source to Pay reimagination for buying and the streamlining of Sanofi knowledge and resolution for service management.
These Products Aim To
Automate and optimize AI-driven workflows across Sanofi, including procurement and support.
Enable seamless deployment of GenAI and agentic systems through robust, scalable data pipelines and system integrations architectures.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of data pipelines, datamarts and AI workflows, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance with Sanofi’s standards.
Work closely with business and product stakeholders within the AI Workflow domain to understand requirements and translate them into technical architectures and deliverables.
Collaborate with Data Architects and Software Engineers to design, build, and maintain DataMart's, models, and integrations in Snowflake, leveraging DBT, Airflow, and Python for automation and orchestration.
Define, enforce, and continuously improve DataOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD with GitHub Actions and infrastructure management using Terraform on AWS.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a small team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
Ensure high data quality and observability through automated testing, validation, and monitoring processes
Collaborate with AI Workflow teams to integrate GenAI, RAGs, and Agentic AI components into production workflows.
Stay current with Sanofi standards, industry practices, and emerging technologies, ensuring the AI Workflow ecosystem remains at the forefront of innovation
About You
You are a dynamic and hands-on Data Engineering lead who combines technical depth with leadership maturity, you enjoy leading small, high-performing teams while staying close to code and architecture decisions. You’re passionate about designing systems that make AI workflows reliable, scalable, and impactful for Sanofi’s enterprise mission.
Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications
Strong experience leading end-to-end data engineering projects from design to production deployment
Proven experience with Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, Python, AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases technologies/concepts
Proven ability to define and enforce data and MLOps standards (CI/CD, observability, lineage, reproducibility)
Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, datamarts, and data models at enterprise scale
Practical understanding of GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and Agentic AI integration
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams — Product, Data Architecture, and AI Engineering
Ability to work within regulated environments (data privacy, compliance, cybersecurity) is a plus

Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and elevate junior engineers

Your background
5 years of experiences in a data team.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field
Experience in the healthcare industry is a strong plus
