**Job Title** Business Operations Manager **Role Summary** Own and scale the operating engine that drives user acquisition, conversion, and retention. Partner with founders to translate raw data into actionable insights, lead experiments, optimize workflows, and manage expert and customer support systems. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable growth by improving funnel performance and conversion rates. - Rapid decision‑making and execution; act on insights before perfect data. - Maintain high quality of customer interactions while scaling support operations. - Communicate complex findings clearly to founders and cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct user interviews and outbound calls with potential customers to uncover blockers and convert interest into committed users. - Translate conversation insights into structured product and operations recommendations. - Own end‑to‑end reporting: build weekly scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs that guide strategic decisions. - Design, run, and analyze experiments that impact conversion speed, experience, and operational efficiency. - Manage support for customers and expert partners: respond swiftly, identify repeat issues, and implement systemic fixes. - Develop playbooks, checklists, and automation workflows for customer support and expert management. - Scale operations by hiring and onboarding a customer support team, and by integrating AI and automation to improve speed and consistency. **Required Skills** - Advanced analytical ability: strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets; SQL and analytics tools a plus. - Experience with data‑driven experimentation and performance metrics. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex concepts. - Customer‑centric mindset with empathy for high‑stakes decision making. - Comfortable on the phone and experienced in turning conversations into commitments. - Proactive, bias‑to‑action attitude, low‑ego, and strong ownership of results. **Required Education & Certifications** - Preferred: MBA from a top‑tier university. - 5+ years in consulting, BizOps/RevOps, strategy & operations, or high‑ownership roles in fast‑paced startups. - No mandatory certifications required.
