Job Title: Human Resources Specialist Role Summary: Lead the core HR operations of a high‑growth pediatric therapy organization, ensuring a compliant, scalable, and employee‑focused people strategy. Expectations: - Hybrid work model: present in office one day per week and attend quarterly company meetings. - Serve as the primary HR partner for all employee‑related inquiries. - Collaborate with leadership to continuously refine HR processes and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Own all core HR functions (excluding recruiting), including employee handbook, policies, and procedures. - Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, policy interpretation, and day‑to‑day HR support. - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. - Administer benefits programs, manage enrollments, changes, and employee education. - Support performance management cycles: feedback, documentation, corrective action, and terminations. - Oversee HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and scalability. - Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with Talent Acquisition and Operations. - Identify and implement process improvements to scale HR operations with company growth. Required Skills: - Proven experience in HR operations, preferably within healthcare or multi‑site organizations. - Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices. - Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion. - Clear, professional communication skills for navigating sensitive conversations. - Systems‑oriented mindset focused on clean, repeatable, and scalable processes. - Ability to work independently while partnering closely with leadership. - Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑stage environment.
