Join Oaklin Lane as a Human Resources Specialist and play a foundational role in building the people systems behind a rapidly scaling pediatric therapy organization. Oaklin Lane is a modern pediatric therapy company focused on expanding access to high-quality speech, occupational, and physical therapy through disciplined operations and thoughtful growth.
This role exists to build, protect, and scale the employee experience as we grow. As our HR Specialist, you will own core HR operations — policies, compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, performance processes, and day-to-day people support. You will partner closely with leadership to ensure our people systems are clear, fair, compliant, and scalable.
This is a hybrid role based in Plano, Texas. Candidates are expected to work in-office one day per week, as well as attend quarterly company meetings at the Plano office.
Responsibilities
Own all core HR operations, excluding recruiting, across the organization
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, HR questions, and policy interpretation
Maintain and evolve employee handbook, policies, and procedures in alignment with company values and growth
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education
Support performance management processes, including feedback cycles, documentation, and corrective action
Partner with leadership on employee issues, coaching, performance concerns, and terminations
Oversee HR systems and records to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and scalability
Support onboarding and offboarding processes in coordination with Talent Acquisition and Operations
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes as the company scales
Required Skills
Experience in Human Resources operations (healthcare or multi-site organizations strongly preferred)
Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
High attention to detail with sound judgment and discretion
Clear, professional communicator who can navigate sensitive conversations confidently
Systems-oriented thinker who values clean, repeatable, and scalable processes
Ability to operate independently while partnering closely with leadership
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment

$50,000—$65,000 USD
