Lead ServiceNow – Digital Product Release (DPR)
**Role Summary**
Senior ServiceNow developer responsible for leading the design, configuration, and deployment of the Digital Product Release (DPR) solution. Drives automation of release workflows, integrates DPR with ServiceNow modules and external CI/CD tools, and ensures successful adoption through documentation, training, and post‑implementation support.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end DPR implementation on schedule and within quality standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and automated solutions.
- Maintain high system availability, performance, and compliance after go‑live.
- Mentor junior developers and serve as the primary technical point of contact for DPR.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and build automated workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports for product releases in ServiceNow.
- Integrate DPR with ITSM, DevOps, Change Management, and external CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Conduct requirement workshops with stakeholders and produce functional specifications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans; troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues.
- Produce technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead training sessions for end users and administrators to drive adoption.
- Provide ongoing support, monitor system performance, and implement enhancements post‑deployment.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize release management efficiency.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with proven expertise in module customization and integration.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform (ITSM, DevOps, Change Management) and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong understanding of release management, ITIL processes, and software development lifecycle.
- Proficient in creating automated workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (mandatory) – additional certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/DevOps) preferred.
