**Job Title:** Head of Technology
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and scaling of a technology-first remote video monitoring platform. Own the technology roadmap, architect infrastructure for VMS, AI analytics, cloud, and edge deployments, and manage a high‑performing development team to deliver production‑grade, secure, and scalable solutions for commercial, industrial, and construction clients.

- Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with growth objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of software developers and technical specialists, setting clear priorities and performance expectations.
- Establish development standards, code review processes, and scalable engineering workflows.
- Make architecture decisions for VMS platforms, AI analytics, cloud integrations, and edge deployments.
- Oversee infrastructure supporting multi‑site camera deployments and centralized monitoring operations.
- Drive AI‑enabled detection strategy, including object recognition, behavioral analytics, and automation.
- Set cybersecurity standards across servers, networking, and remote access environments.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical solution design and implementation oversight for enterprise clients.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years senior technical leadership (CTO, Director, Lead Architect, Engineering Manager).
- Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
- Strong background in video surveillance systems (Nx Witness, Milestone, Genetec, or equivalent).
- Expertise in AI/ML for video analytics and computer vision frameworks.
- Experience managing Linux/Windows server environments, networking, firewalls, VPNs, and remote device management.
- Demonstrated ability to scale technology teams and deliver production‑grade systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or equivalent) are a plus.
