Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Technology to architect, lead, and scale the technology backbone of Gazer Monitoring. This role is responsible not only for platform strategy and infrastructure design, but also for building, managing, and leading a high-performing team of developers. The successful candidate will translate business objectives into a resilient, high-performance monitoring ecosystem while driving execution through strong technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with growth objectives
Lead and manage a team of software developers and technical specialists, setting clear priorities and performance expectations
Establish development standards, code review processes, and scalable engineering workflows
Lead architecture decisions across VMS platforms, AI analytics, cloud integrations, and edge deployments
Oversee infrastructure supporting multi-site camera deployments and centralized monitoring operations
Drive AI-enabled detection strategy including object recognition, behavioral analytics, and automation
Establish cybersecurity standards across servers, networking, and remote access environments
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve scalability and operational efficiency
Support enterprise clients with technical solution design and implementation oversight
Qualifications
5+ years in senior technical leadership roles (CTO, Director of Technology, Lead Architect, Engineering Manager, etc.)
Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams
Strong experience with video surveillance systems (e.g., Nx Witness, Milestone, Genetec or similar)
Familiarity with AI/ML applications in video analytics and computer vision frameworks
Experience managing Linux and/or Windows server environments
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and remote device management
Demonstrated ability to scale technology teams and deliver production-grade systems
Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capability
