Software Technical Lead
**Role Summary**
Provide technical ownership and hands‑on development for a cloud‑native e‑commerce platform (React/Next.js on AWS). Lead a small web team of engineers and QA in a remote, Agile environment, balancing feature delivery with technical debt reduction, improving reliability, and setting engineering standards.

* Deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions while maintaining high code quality.
* Foster an engaged, accountable team culture without creating excessive bureaucracy.
* Act as a single source of truth for technical direction, governance, and delivery predictability.
* Scale platform architecture and delivery processes as user and business demands grow.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Own technical design and architecture of the web platform, focusing on scalable, serverless AWS services.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of developers and QA engineers.
* Balance new feature development with technical debt and incident mitigation.
* Strengthen Agile delivery practices (sprints, ceremonies, forecasting, throughput).
* Define and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK).
* Collaborate cross‑functionally to align product, business, and technical priorities.
* Drive reliability improvements, reduce preventable incidents, and enhance system observability.
**Required Skills**
* 6+ years of full‑stack web development experience.
* Deep proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and associated tooling.
* Strong hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, etc.).
* Experience writing and managing Infrastructure‑as‑Code with AWS CDK.
* Proven ability to lead technical direction within an Agile delivery team.
* Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and decision‑making skills.
* Comfortable with remote, collaborative work environments.
* Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality metrics.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Minimum of 6 years’ professional software engineering experience (full‑stack web).
* AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect) are welcome but not mandatory; practical experience is valued over credentials.
