Job Description
**Job Title:** Social Media & Marketing Executive **Role Summary:** Execute integrated multi‑channel marketing campaigns (email, LinkedIn, and other social platforms) to increase event attendance and engagement. Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, marketing, operations, and external partners to produce promotional assets, speaker content, and event coverage, while analysing performance metrics to inform strategy. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely, high‑quality marketing deliverables in a fast‑paced environment. - Maintain strong teamwork and communication across internal departments and external stakeholders. - Show analytical mindset with results‑driven approach to campaign performance. - Volunteer to handle live event coverage and post‑event content if required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and publish regular promotional posts on the company LinkedIn profile. - Design “speaker card” assets and coordinate their distribution via speakers’ and sponsors’ accounts. - Provide customized social media content to sponsors and supporting organizations. - Conduct live LinkedIn coverage during events (in‑person or virtual). - Plan and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns for each event in partnership with management. - Set up, manage, and analyze email marketing campaigns using CRM tools. - Identify, secure, and engage supporting associations to promote events to their members. - Liaise with sponsor marketing teams to amplify event visibility. - Interview key speakers pre‑ and post‑event; edit recordings, generate AI‑transcripts, and upload results. - Analyze campaign performance metrics: email metrics, Google Analytics, sponsor activity, discount code usage, etc. - Prepare weekly, event‑specific performance reports for management. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably for events or conferences. - Proficiency in LinkedIn management, content creation tools (Adobe/Canva), and email marketing platforms (CRM). - Strong writing and editing abilities, with attention to detail. - Ability to produce and edit video content and generate AI‑based transcripts. - Analytical skills to interpret metrics, use Google Analytics, and report on ROI. - Excellent time‑management and deadline‑driven approach. - Collaborative team player with cross‑functional communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business). - Preferable marketing or social media qualification (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics Certification).
