Job Description: **Job Title**: Chief Operating Officer – Robotics & Commercial Execution **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end commercial, operational, and product execution for a robotic automation firm. Translate strategic direction into scalable systems, accountability frameworks, and revenue growth. Direct cross‑functional teams in sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing to launch and scale automation verticals. **Expectations** * Deliver a structured commercial engine and operational systems within 12–18 months. * Scale new automation verticals and achieve measurable revenue targets. * Establish clear accountability, metrics, and execution cadence across all functions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Commercial & Revenue Execution** • Own and optimise operating model across all product lines. • Implement disciplined CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management. • Drive margin visibility and revenue accountability. • Participate in closing high‑value commercial opportunities. 2. **Product & Robotics Execution** • Own product lifecycle from deployment through commercial scale. • Ensure real‑world rollout, iteration, and refinement. • Align product capability with market demand and positioning. • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing partners. 3. **Operational Infrastructure** • Build scalable internal systems, reporting frameworks, and quality controls. • Establish clear accountability structures and execution cadence. • Oversee supplier coordination and deployment processes. • Identify and close operational gaps. 4. **Cross‑Functional Leadership** • Align sales, marketing, product, and operations teams. • Maintain operational discipline while supporting controlled growth. **Required Skills** * Senior leadership experience in robotics, automation, hardware, or complex technical product environments. * Proven track record managing products from development to commercial deployment. * Demonstrated revenue scaling in product‑led organizations. * Strong commercial judgment, margin awareness, and data‑driven decision making. * Ability to design and implement operational systems from scratch. * Comfortable operating in both structured and high‑growth environments. * Hands‑on execution mindset balanced with strategic vision. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred MBA or equivalent business qualification). * Relevant certifications in project management or operations (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
