Job Description

**Job Title** Housekeeper – Bank Staff **Role Summary** Clean and maintain residential care home rooms and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for staff, residents and visitors. **Expectations** - Work bank schedule 8 AM – 4 PM. - Maintain professionalism, privacy respect and confidentiality at all times. - Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Execute daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways and communal spaces within allocated time. - Inspect and change linen and towels, ensuring colour consistency, no stains or tears; report rejected items. - Identify and report dirty rooms, damages, maintenance issues and safety hazards to managers or maintenance staff. - Dispose of waste correctly, separating recyclables. - Follow cleaning instructions, product safety data sheets and health & safety regulations. - Support team initiatives and attend training, peer mentoring and performance reviews. **Required Skills** - Attention to detail and strong observational skills. - Basic pest, cleaning and maintenance knowledge. - Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Commitment to health and safety, data protection and confidentiality. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum secondary education. - Relevant hygiene, housekeeping or hospitality training preferred. - Valid health and vaccination status as per public health guidelines.
