Job Description
Job title: Business Development & Experiential Strategist Role Summary: Drive new revenue growth by sourcing, qualifying, and closing experiential projects with brand, tech, entertainment, and retail clients. Own end‑to‑end client engagement from initial discovery through proposal, guiding cross‑functional teams to align strategy, scope, and budget with the studio’s premium positioning. Expactations: - Build and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified experiential opportunities in priority verticals. - Consistently close mid‑ to large‑scale programs, meeting or exceeding commission targets. - Foster long‑term relationships with brands, agencies, and partners, positioning the studio as a trusted partner rather than a one‑off vendor. - Provide accurate forecasting, velocity tracking, and revenue contribution analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities across specified verticals. - Cultivate relationships with brand marketers, agency partners, and experiential leads. - Conduct early discovery conversations to uncover clients’ strategic objectives. - Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop pitch direction, scope, and budget. - Define strategic positioning and proposal elements before formal submission. - Maintain pipeline visibility, forecast revenue, and sustain deal momentum. - Represent the studio in senior stakeholder meetings with confidence and professionalism. Required Skills: - 7+ years in experiential, live events, brand marketing, or integrated agency settings. - Proven track record of closing mid‑ to large‑scale experiential programs. - Extensive network across brands, agencies, entertainment, retail, or tech. - Strategic thinking with an understanding of creative ambition and operational constraints. - Ability to navigate complex budgets and multi‑stakeholder decision trees. - Self‑directed, entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. - No mandatory certifications; relevant industry credentials (e.g., Project Management, Sales‑Tech platforms) are preferred.
