**Job Title** Director of Media **Role Summary** Lead media strategy and execution for Lindt USA, driving brand awareness and demand across paid, programmatic, and traditional channels. Coordinate with internal brand, marketing, insights, and external agency partners to deliver optimized media plans, manage budgets, and report performance. Champion data‑driven media testing, learning initiatives, and global alignment with Lindt’s brand equity. **Expectations** * Deliver measurable media impact across linear, non‑linear TV, OTT, OLV, paid social, and emerging digital channels. * Maintain tight control of media spend, invoicing, and contractual compliance. * Influence senior leadership decisions through strategic briefs and presentations. * Foster continuous improvement through multi‑year learning agendas and global media test leadership. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Serve as the primary liaison among brand teams, international marketing, insights, and media agency. 2. Own annual media planning cycle, including strategic briefs, analyses, budgeting, and upfronts. 3. Develop, update, and manage master media plans for all advertised brands. 4. Oversee paid media execution, optimization, and performance reporting; ensure transparent billing and reconciliation. 5. Lead media audits, contract negotiations, and relationships with legal and third‑party consultancies. 6. Collaborate with Communication/PR on paid‑social, influencer, and zero‑budget initiatives. 7. Provide creative guidance to ensure assets align with media strategy. 8. Build partnerships with SEM/SEO and wholesale media functions for synergy recommendations. 9. Monitor industry trends, emerging platforms, and consumer behavior shifts. 10. Drive media innovation: test new channels, develop learning agendas, and contribute to global media principles. 11. Deliver KPI dashboards and actionable insights to business stakeholders. **Required Skills** * Advanced media planning and buying expertise (TV, OTT, OLV, paid social, programmatic). * Strong analytical ability; proficiency in performance analysis, data visualization, and KPI reporting. * Budget management, financial oversight, and invoice reconciliation experience. * Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. * Negotiation, contract management, and audit supervision competency. * Strategic thinking with a test‑and‑learn mindset. * Ability to translate brand strategy into media tactics and integrate cross‑functional feedback. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred). * Recognized media or digital marketing certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, IAB, TVB, OTT/BRS). * Minimum 7–10 years of progressive media leadership experience, ideally within consumer packaged goods or a fast‑moving brand environment.
