Job Description
Job Title: Director, Events & Partnerships Role Summary: Oversees the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of North American events and partnership programs to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance brand visibility. Requires leadership in cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making. Expactations: Demonstrate proven strategic leadership, large-scale event management, cross-functional teamwork, data-informed decisions, and measurable ROI from event and partnership initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead strategy, planning, and execution of 30+ annual regional and virtual events, including trade shows, field activations, and executive-level experiences. - Develop and align event/field marketing strategies with revenue goals, go-to-market priorities, and brand objectives. - Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to align messaging, target audiences, and regional sales initiatives. - Manage budgets, vendors, timelines, and contracts to maximize ROI while tracking pipeline impact via Salesforce and HubSpot. - Identify and pursue new event opportunities, strategic partnerships, and co-marketing initiatives. - Optimize program performance through analytics, present insights to senior leaders, and mentor junior staff. - Maintain partner relationships with CRM/ERP/EDU platforms, activating co-marketing programs to expand market presence. Required Skills: Strategic event planning, budget & vendor management, cross-functional project leadership, data analytics for ROI measurement, executive communication. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business; 5-7 years in events marketing, preferably in B2B tech, with experience managing revenue-impacting events and partnerships.
