**Job title:** Senior Business Development Manager – Technology Partnerships & Event Sponsorship **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end sales of tailored sponsorship and partnership opportunities for technology vendors (cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud, data, AI). Engage senior marketing and revenue leaders to align event formats with their pipeline, account engagement, and brand positioning goals, driving high‑value, consultative relationships that deliver measurable commercial outcomes. **Expectations:** - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sponsorship deals ranging £20k–£150k+. - Convert prospects into multi‑event partnerships, achieving forecasted revenue targets. - Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of signed agreements. - Contribute to evolving messaging, sales strategy, and market positioning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prospect and nurture relationships with technology vendors across cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud, data, and AI sectors. - Conduct structured discovery conversations with senior marketing and revenue stakeholders (CMOs, CROs, Heads of Field Marketing, ABM, Partnerships). - Translate client objectives into customized sponsorship proposals for summits, dinners, virtual roundtables, and bespoke experiences. - Manage deal lifecycle—from qualification to closing—using CRM tools, maintaining accurate forecasts. - Handoff finalized agreements to delivery teams, ensuring smooth event implementation. - Participate in internal meetings to refine messaging, sales collateral, and partnership strategies. **Required Skills:** - 4–8+ years of B2B technology marketing, partnership, or sponsorship sales experience. - Proven consultative selling mindset focused on outcomes over transactional deals. - Strong pipeline management and organizational skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives (CMOs, CROs, CHROs). - Familiarity with measuring marketing ROI and pipeline generation metrics. - Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms (beneficial). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - Additional certifications in sales or marketing (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person, HubSpot Marketing Certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
