Job title: Vice President, Key Account – Target
Role Summary:
Lead strategic direction and execution for a top North American retail partner, driving multi‑year growth, profitability, and market expansion across in‑store and eCommerce channels. Own P&L, customer planning, and cross‑functional collaboration to elevate brand presence and operational performance.
Expactations:
- Own five‑year and annual business plans, scorecard targets, and must‑win battles.
- Deliver profitable results within LEGO’s revenue and profit objectives.
- Lead and inspire a cross‑functional team, managing six direct reports and up to 15 indirect stakeholders.
- Travel as required and engage with senior customer executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customer strategy, pricing, promotion, and distribution levers to grow sales and margin.
- Partner with buying, planning, and marketing teams to enhance brand experience.
- Own P&L, manage promotional funding, and optimize spend for maximum ROI.
- Analyze data to understand performance drivers, informing senior leadership and steering customer dialogues.
- Design strategic roadmap for growth in stores and online, leveraging omni‑channel initiatives.
- Coordinate with Americas Supply Chain & Customer Logistics to support planning, execution, and range roll‑outs.
- Represent LEGO in Senior Leadership forums, contributing to broader organizational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement, experimentation, and execution agilities across the customer portfolio.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years retail and consumer packaged goods key account experience, preferably with a large North American customer.
- Proven leadership of high‑performing teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data‑driven planning, eCommerce platforms, and omni‑channel partner management.
- Ability to travel, work across time zones, and manage cross‑functional initiatives.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Certifications in Key Account Management, Strategic Planning, or related disciplines are an advantage.
