As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll join our growing London-based team working on the platforms that power our digital retail experience—including LEGO.com, the LEGO Insiders App, and our order management systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact while working with the latest technology and a supportive team.

Core Responsibilities
Build and ship features across Shopper Technology impacting our LEGO shoppers, working alongside experienced engineers who'll guide your development
Own your tasks Break down features into manageable steps, ask great questions, and learn to solve problems independently (with support when you need it)
Deliver quality code Write clean, tested code and actively seek feedback to continuously improve your craft
Follow features to production Experience the full software lifecycle—from planning through deployment and monitoring in production
Grow your skills Take initiative in learning new technologies and approaches while building production software
Play your part in our team succeeding
Working closely with the whole product team, our Software Engineers play a vital role in securing the quality, security and stability of our digital retail experience. We are working from the offices 3 days per week.
Do you have what it takes?
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Basic programming knowledge in languages like TypeScript / Node / React, JavaScript, Python, Java or similar
Familiarity with fundamental concepts data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Good understanding of how AI can play a role within your day-to-day development
Enthusiasm for learning and growing as a software engineer
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Passion for building great user experiences
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
